Pile your beach chairs onto the city trolley that runs regularly from this KOA to the beach during the summer months. Spin along the 2-mile bike trail to the beach and follow the path along the boardwalk. Other trails wind through backwater bays and marshes. The KOA staff will help arrange deep-sea charters, dolphin-watching cruises and other area excursions. They'll also keep you content with summertime activities like ice cream socials, marshmallow roasts and flashlight candy hunts. Enjoy the amenities at the campground such as the pool, mini-golf, banana bikes and the playground. Be sure to watch for the fighter jets flying overhead from the neighboring naval base.
